The facility is in line with the Government’s objective of promoting LPG

AFRICA GAS & OIL COMPANY LTD

African Gas and Oil Company Ltd (AGOL) has embarked on the construction of a modern common-user Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Terminal in and adjacent to the Port of Mombasa.

The modern terminal will comprise of bulk LPG receiving, storage and redelivery facilities, and will handle imported LPG for local use, for export to neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean islands.

Upon connection to the Mombasa Refinery, imported LPG can be pumped through the Refinery system to Oil Companies depots in Changamwe and Shimanzi.

The facility is in line with the Government’s objective of promoting LPG as an efficient and clean source of energy with the ultimate goal of curbing Deforestation in Kenya and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
